Ride to Recovery Coming in 2010
Ride to Recovery, the parent group of Extreme Faith Racing, has been slated for a one day event next summer.

Rich Ohlson, a recovering drug addict from upsate NY, found that the best way to stay clean and sober was to ride. He gave his life to Jesus Christ and in turn, the Lord has blessed him with a modern format to reach the youth of his community. As Rich would say "Change the method, not the message." Combining his spiritual gift of interacting with youth, on their level, with his natural ability to handle a mountain bike, Rich has built a program that has begun to transcend generational gaps.
The summer of 2010 will find Rich bringing his caravan of bikes and their trademark, bright red and yellow logos, into the Warren area, for a one day spirit led ride and felllowship. The day will include an "intermediate" level ride at beginners pace, followed by food and fellowship.
The date and location for the event has yet to be determined. Currently the organizational committee for NAMBA is planning a day at Chapman State Park, with a ride up into the Allegheny National Forest.
More information will become available early in the new year. Any businesses or organizations that may be interested in co-sponsoring this one day event, are asked to contact NAMBA. using the contacts page.
As always, everyone at NAMBA is very grateful for the continued public support, that is helping to bring greater awareness to mountain biking and bike tourism to our area.
